Evander Holyfield, nicknamed the Real Deal, was born in Atmore, Alabama, on October 19, 1962. He is an American boxer who is the first professional fighter to win the heavyweight title four times in a row, surpassing Muhammad Ali’s three-peat.

Holyfield competed in the 1984 Summer Olympics as an amateur, earning a bronze medal in the light heavyweight class. At 21, he became professional, going up to cruiserweight in 1985 and capturing his first world title the following year, beating Dwight Muhammad Qawi for the WBA title.
