Jada Pinkett Smith is an American actress and talk show host.
She is best known for her supporting role in the sitcom A Different World (1991–1993) and as Niobe in The Matrix Reloaded (2003), The Matrix Revolutions (2003), and The Matrix Resurrections (2021).
In 2018, she began co-hosting the Facebook Watch talk show Red Table Talk, for which she has received a Daytime Emmy Award from seven nominations.
Time named her one of the 100 most influential people in the world in 2021.
Along with her husband Will Smith, she has a production company and has had producing credits in films, documentaries, and television series.
In 2010, she earned a nomination for the Tony Award for Best Musical as a producer for the Broadway musical Fela!.
Furthermore, Pinkett Smith also wrote a children's book, Girls Hold Up This World, which was published in 2004, and landed at number two on The New York Times Best Seller list.
